No personal information about you or your computer is gathered while you are browsing this website. Only the forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you enter or any personally identifiable information; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).

Any information you provide in membership applications will only be used within the WYAT. All membership applications are treated in the strictest condidence. No information whatsoever will be passed on to third parties without your prior consent. Your information will only be disclosed where we are obliged by law. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you remain a member, and remove it in the event that your application is unsuccessful or you cease being a member. Any emails sent through the contact page will be treated with confidentiality.

If you use the forum, WYAT will use any information available to prevent any breach of the forum terms and conditions. If you post or send abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws WYAT can use whatever information that is available about you to stop such behaviour. This may involve informing relevant third parties such as your school e-mail/Internet provider and law enforcement agencies about the content and your behaviour. The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.

We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
